By Aaron Humes: Just in time for the peak Belizean tourism season, seasonal and daily low-cost airline flights to the United States and Canada are back, according to the Belize Tourism Board (BTB).

Starting today, Wednesday, WestJet resumes its bi-weekly flights from Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Philip Goldson International Airport. Flights operate Wednesdays and Saturdays through April 30, 2022, serving Canadians who feel comfortable enough to travel from the Great White North to sunnier climates.

Later in November and December, the new airlines Alaska Airlines, Frontier Airlines and SunCountry join the old reliable carriers American, United, COPA of Panama, TAG of Guatemala City and the national airline Tropic Air on departure from Cancun.
