Interest in meetings on business tourism in Cuba increases – English version

The registration of more than 100 buyers in three weeks shows that there is more interest in holding the MITM Americas business tourism meeting in Cuba, organizers said Monday.

A statement from GSAR Marketing-MITM Events (Spain) issued Monday in Havana details that this venue has become really attractive for the meeting, which will be held in the seaside resort of Varadero, some 140 km east of the capital.

According to this press release, about 100 experts from 30 countries were registered during this short period, including directors of companies, incentive agencies, international agencies, congress planners and organizers, among others.

The 24th edition of MITM Americas, Meetings & Incentive Travel Market, the oldest MICE B2B fair in the Americas and the Caribbean, will return to Cuba once again, they pointed out.

This type of B2B MICE meeting means short contacts with subject matter experts to facilitate more business opportunities regarding meetings and venues.

The meeting will take place at the Hotel Meliá Varadero, the first MICE hotel in Cuba, with a privileged location and magnificent facilities for events, noted the Spanish chain.

MITM Americas is supported and sponsored by the Cuban Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR), Meliá Hotels and Cubatur. (
