AMN Healthcare’s Steve Wehn ​​Named Chairman of the Esperanza International Project Board

DALLAS, Aug. 31, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — International Esperanza Project (IEP), a Dallas-based nonprofit whose mission is to inspire hope in people in developing countries through projects of Health and Community Infrastructure and Education, today announced the appointment of Steve Wehn ​​as Chairman of the Board.

Wehn, Vice President of Government Relations with AMN Healthcare, has been instrumental in the partnership between IEP and AMN, which has sponsored and associated health, community infrastructure and education missions in the high poor lands of Guatemala. Wehn, who served as IEP’s vice president and founding director in 2017, succeeds Laura Wheat, who has served as founding president since the organization’s inception in 2017.
